Become a Volunteer

The individuals we are looking to recruit will need to have no fear or dread about the rain, darkness, deep woods, or hound DROOL! A healthy sense of humor is also essential.

You must be willing to work long and hard, in the heat, the cold and the rain, at all hours of the day or night, to work your regular job, go to bed on a cold, rainy night: just get to sleep and then be called out to search for a lost person.

We are a volunteer based, non-profit organization that responds with our trained bloodhounds to various emergency situations including lost children, hikers, hunters, elderly who may have wandered away, Alzheimer’s patients, evidence or cadaver searches.

Our bloodhound handlers come from different walks of life: professional, service industry, stay-at-home moms, etc.  We receive no compensation other than an occasional meal or a tank of gas, and most of the time are required to use vacation time or sick leave from our jobs in order to respond to a search.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for  the Inland Empire Bloodhounds Search and Rescue Team please fill out the following and a team recruiter will contact you as soon as possible.
